Very predictable result in Pasvalys where second ranked P.Zvaigzdes (18-12) defeated 7th ranked Juventus (11-18) 87-83 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Juventus trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 23-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 83-87 at the end of the game. P.Zvaigzdes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international swingman Arturas Jomantas (200-85) fired 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
