Very important is a home loss of third ranked Zepter Vienna (20-10) against sixth ranked Xion Dukes (15-15) on Sunday night. Host Zepter Vienna was defeated by Xion Dukes in a tough game in Wien 88-97. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Zepter Vienna. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 33-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Xion Dukes made 29-of-33 free shots (87.9 percent) during the game. American swingman Curtis Bobb (198-78, college: Utah St.) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) for the winners. International point guard Moritz Lanegger (190-90, agency: Two Points) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: Beo Basket) produced 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Montenegrin Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Xion Dukes moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Wels. Defending champion Zepter Vienna keeps the third position with ten games lost.
