Quarter-Finals Round 1: PINKK-Pecsi - UNI Gyor 78-52

PINKK-Pecsi toppled UNI Gyor and established a 1-0 lead in the quarterfinals. The game was mostly controlled by PINKK-Pecsi. UNI Gyor managed to win third quarter 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PINKK-Pecsi dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to UNI Gyor's 24. PINKK-Pecsi forced 21 UNI Gyor turnovers. American swingman Amber Holt (183-85, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Regeneracom Sports) fired 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international guard Dalma Ivanyi (176-76, college: FIU) chipped in 9 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. PINKK-Pecsi's coach Roberto Hernandez felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Dannielle Diamant (196-91, college: Northwestern) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and Croatian guard Martina Gambiraza (176-82, agency: IPSA) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
