Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Bursa BSB (4-4) outplayed bottom-ranked Anadolu Univ. (0-8) in Eskisehir 104-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Bursa BSB led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Anadolu Univ.'s 40. They outrebounded Anadolu Univ. 43-26 including a 35-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bursa BSB looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Anadolu Univ.'s players. American forward Alyssia Brewer (190-90, college: UCLA) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Deniz Selin Ekiz (189-89) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Bursa BSB players scored in double figures. Forward Ceyda Isbirakmaz (-80) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Pinar Caliskan (173-93) added 10 points in the effort for Anadolu Univ.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bursa BSB maintains fourth position in Group E with 4-4 record. Loser Anadolu Univ. still closes the standings with eight games lost. Bursa BSB will face Gure (#5) in Balikesir in the next round. Anadolu Univ. will play against Yakin Dogu and hopes to get finally their first victory.
