Very expected game in Akdeniz where 14th ranked Mersin (7-19) was defeated by eighth ranked Tofas (13-13) 89-83. Mersin was ahead by 11 points at the halftime before a 50-33 second half run of Tofas. American guard Marcus Denmon (191-90, college: Missouri) notched 31 points to lead the effort and the former international forward Evren Buker (195-85) supported him with 13 points and 12 assists.
