PINKK-Pecsi upset UNI Gyor on the road to sweep the quarterfinal series. PINKK-Pecsi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding UNI Gyor to just 7 points in second quarter. PINKK-Pecsi made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game, while UNI Gyor only scored two points from the stripe. They outrebounded UNI Gyor 41-22 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. UNI Gyor was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Spanish center Lucila Pascua (196-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 6 points and 10 rebounds. American swingman Amber Holt (183-85, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Regeneracom Sports) contributed with 7 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. PINKK-Pecsi's coach Roberto Hernandez used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Croatian guard Martina Gambiraza (176-82, agency: IPSA) replied with 9 points and 4 assists and American power forward Dannielle Diamant (196-91, college: Northwestern) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for UNI Gyor.
