Quarter-Finals Round 2: MTK - WF DVTK 49-80

WF DVTK toppled MTK to gain the ticket into the semifinal stage. The game without a history. WF DVTK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding MTK to just 6 points in fourth quarter. WF DVTK forced 25 MTK turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Latvian power forward Liene Jansone (190-81, college: Siena) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. International Reka Balint (189-91) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Four WF DVTK players scored in double figures. Bosnian center Dragana Svitlica (190-88, agency: IPSA) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and guard Viktoria Orso (176-86) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
