Regular Season Round 29: LSU-Atletas - Tonybet 84-91

Leader Tonybet delivered the twentieth third victory. This time they beat 11th ranked LSU-Atletas (4-28) 91-84 in Kaunas. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-20. But LSU-Atletas won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tonybet dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to LSU-Atletas' 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Center Vaidas Cepukaitis (208-89, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Mindaugas Lukauskis (198-79, agency: XL Basketball Agency) contributed with 18 points and 6 steals for the winners. point guard Karolis Babkauskas (186-91) answered with 19 points and 9 assists and Zygimantas Skucas (200-92) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for LSU-Atletas.
