An interesting game took place in Ankara where higher ranked ITU Istanbul (14-17) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked Maliye Milli (12-20) 98-66. The game without a history. Maliye Milli led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maliye Milli outrebounded ITU Istanbul 48-26 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by ITU Istanbul's players. Forward Sahin Ekmen (203-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field).
