Regular Season Round 32: Ankara DSI Era - Vestel 78-79

The most exciting game of round 32 in the TB2L took place in Ankara. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of second-ranked Ankara DSI Era (23-9) to fourth ranked Vestel (22-10) 79-78 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 20-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Alex Gordon (184-85, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 rebounds and Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) who added 15 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four Vestel players scored in double figures. Vestel's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Lamar Karim (178-83, college: So.Poly State) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and forward Mustafa Gorur (204-88, agency: 1x1 Sports) scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. Vestel have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Ankara DSI Era keeps the second position with nine games lost. Vestel are looking forward to face Maliye Milli (#15) in Ankara in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ankara DSI Era will play on the road against Buyukcekmece (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
