MBA Moscow narrowly defeated Sojuz Zaretchny at home court to force the third game in the semifinal series. Sojuz Zaretchny cut a 17-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. MBA Moscow forced 19 Sojuz Zaretchny turnovers. Center Sergei Krasavtsev (208-82) scored 20 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Alexander Tikhonin (205-92) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. point guard Aleksandr Amelin (184-88) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and Dmitriy Ezhov (207-91) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sojuz Zaretchny's coach Aleksandr Drankov tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
