Regular Season Round 25: Crnomelj - Elektro Gorenjska 83-78

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Crnomelj and 8th ranked Elektro Gorenjska had identical 11-13 record. This time Crnomelj used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Kranj 83-78 on Saturday night. It was a great shooting night for Crnomelj especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Power forward Anze Cerkovnik (200-86) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Crt Ristic (182-89) chipped in 22 points. Guard Rok Jakobcic (194-91) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and power forward Luka Zavrsnik (202-90) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Crnomelj maintains seventh place with 12-13 record. Elektro Gorenjska lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Litija. Crnomelj will meet league's second-placed Plama Pur in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Elektro Gorenjska will play against Parklji (#5) and hope to secure a win.
