An interesting game took place in Istanbul where higher ranked Yesilgiresun (21-11) was upset on the court of sixteenth ranked Pertevniyal (12-20) 67-63 on Saturday. Yesilgiresun was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 19-8 charge of Pertevniyal, which allowed them to win the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pertevniyal made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward K'Zell Wesson (201-77, college: La Salle) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 21 rebounds and 5 blocks.
