UMMC cruised past Dynamo Moscow in the capital sealing the PBL Finals appearance. UMMC Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Dynamo Moscow to just 7 points in fourth quarter. UMMC Ekaterinburg forced 19 Dynamo Moscow turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Italian-American Diana Taurasi (182-82, college: Connecticut) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four UMMC Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. International center Nadezhda Grishaeva (195-89) replied with 13 points and 5 rebounds and center Tina Charles (193-88, college: Connecticut) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Dynamo Moscow. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
