Novosybirsk snatched a tough home win over Univ.Surgut to level the series at 1-1. Universitet-Yugra was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 26-18 charge of Novosybirsk, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 Universitet-Yugra turnovers. Universitet-Yugra was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Alexander Anisimov (185-86, agency: Alti Sport) notched 22 points to lead the effort and Vitaliy Ionov (201-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 20 points and 5 assists by guard Anton Ageev (191-84, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) did not help to save the game for Universitet-Yugra. Forward Alexander Savenkov (205-82) added 17 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the guests.
