Neftekhimik cruised past Dynamo-MGTU in Tobolsk to punch the title series ticket. The game was mostly controlled by Neftekhimik T.. Dynamo-MGTU managed to win second period 14-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Neftekhimik T. forced 20 Dynamo-MGTU turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. Neftekhimik T. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Konstantin Novikov (202-87) who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Dmitriy Zlobin (186-88) chipped in 7 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.
