Regular Season Round 33: Istanbul B.B. - Pamukkale 64-74

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Pamukkale (21-12) beat on the road 4th placed Istanbul B.B. (21-12) 74-64. The game was mostly controlled by Pamukkale. Istanbul B.B. was better in second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) nailed 20 points for the winning side and Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) accounted for 12 points. Four Pamukkale players scored in double figures. American forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee services) came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds and forward Hadi Ozdemir (203-83) added 11 points respectively for Istanbul B.B. in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pamukkale have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Istanbul B.B. Pamukkale's next round opponent will be Final Genclik (#8) in Bursa.
