Neftekhimik upset MBA in the capital to take 1-0 lead in the title series. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 23-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Neftekhimik T. made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by MBA Moscow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Four MBA Moscow players scored in double figures. MBA Moscow's coach Valeri Sizov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
