UMMC recorded the second straight victory over Nadezhda in the Finals. UMMC Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American center Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) scored 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and French center Sandrine Gruda (193-87) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. American point guard Temeka Johnson (160-82, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with 11 points and 4 assists and her fellow American import guard DeWanna Bonner (193-87, college: Auburn, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 14 points. Four Nadezhda Orenburg players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
