Round 10 in TKB2L means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Edirne where host Edirne (9-1) crushed league's leader Mersin Univ. (8-2) 81-54 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in Group F. The game without a history. Edirne led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Edirne especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Point guard Ilayda Tokmak (170-93) fired 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American center Marcedes Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Aysun Yararbas (185-91) produced 12 points and Ukrainian center Elena Staschuk (192-85, agency: LBM Management) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Edirne have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group F leader. Mersin Univ. at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Edirne.
