Finals Game 3: Neftekhimik T. - MBA Moscow 86-83

Neftekhimik held off MBA Moscow in the decisive third game of the series in Tobolsk and celebrated the Higher League title. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Neftekhimik T. made 18-of-18 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. It was a great evening for point guard Dmitriy Zlobin (186-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Konstantin Novikov (202-87) helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was center Sergei Krasavtsev (208-82) with 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and power forward Alexander Tikhonin (205-92) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
