Regular Season Round 34: ALBA - Fraport SKY 67-59

Very expected game when 11th ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (14-20) were defeated on the road by third ranked ALBA Berlin (27-7) 67-59. It looked good early as Deutsche Bank Skyliners took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ALBA Berlin had a 23-15 second period charge getting the lead and Deutsche Bank Skyliners were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 59-67. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Reggie Redding (196-88, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Canadian-Irish power forward Levon Kendall (209-84, college: Pittsburgh) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. point guard Konstantin Klein (186-91, agency: LUMANI 10.7) replied with 16 points and center Johannes Voigtmann (210-92) added 7 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Deutsche Bank Skyliners. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ALBA Berlin have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 27-7 record having just two points less than leader B.Muenchen. Deutsche Bank Skyliners at the other side keep the eleventh place with 20 games lost.
