BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (29-5) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fourteenth ranked New Yorker Phantoms (11-23) in Braunschweig 83-76. It looked good early as New Yorker Phantoms took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Bayern Muenchen had a 19-12 second period charge getting the lead and New Yorker Phantoms were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-83. Bayern Muenchen made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Bosnian forward Nihad Djedovic (197-90, agency: Beo Basket) notched 15 points to lead the effort and American guard Malcolm Delaney (191-89, college: Virginia Tech) supported him with 14 points.
