Very expected game when 16th ranked Maliye Milli (12-22) was smashed by tenth ranked Buyukcekmece (16-18) in Ankara 98-77 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Buyukcekmece. Maliye Milli was better in third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Buyukcekmece shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American power forward Kahiem Seawright (206-86, college: Rhode Island) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Alican Guney (194-89, agency: 1x1 Sports) contributed with 30 points for the winners. Power forward Tunahan Dikmen (203-94, agency: 1x1 Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and forward Sahin Ekmen (203-89) added 19 points in the effort for Maliye Milli. Four Maliye Milli players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Buyukcekmece moved-up to ninth place, which they share with I.T.U. and Balikesir. Loser Maliye Milli keeps the sixteenth position with 22 games lost.
