No shocking result in a game when third ranked Vestel (24-10) beat on the road 9th ranked Balikesir (16-18) 90-86 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 25-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Vestel outrebounded Balikesir 40-29 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for forward Gokhan Orcun Tunca (201-80) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Serbian power forward Mesut Ademoglu (207-82, college: NW Nazarene) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Vestel players scored in double figures. American point guard Dante Swanson (178-81, college: Tulsa, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) replied with 23 points and forward Hadi Dogan (200-86) added 24 points in the effort for Balikesir. Balikesir's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Vestel have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ankara DSI Era. Loser Balikesir keeps the ninth position with 18 games lost.
