Seventh-ranked Usak (16-14) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Galatasaray (20-10) in Istanbul. Galatasaray managed to secure only three-point victory 73-70. However their fans expected easier game. Usak was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 28-11 third quarter run of Galatasaray. Serbian Zoran Erceg (210-85) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Furkan Aldemir (207-91, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Galatasaray's coach Ergin Ataman used entire bench in such tough game.
