The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Banvit BK (28-2) in Istanbul on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Besiktas (19-11) 73-60. It ended at the same time the 21-game winning streak of Banvit BK. The game without a history. Besiktas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for American point guard Doron Perkins (188-83, college: Santa Clara) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Bosnian center Kenan Bajramovic (205-81) contributed with 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Ermal Kuqo (208-80, agency: Beo Basket) replied with 9 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Erkan Veyseloglu (200-83, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Banvit BK. Banvit BK's coach Dimitris Itoudis rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Besiktas maintains fifth position with 19-11 record. Banvit BK at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost.
