Kaposvari held off KTE-Duna to surge ahead in the quarterfinal series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 15-11. But KTE-Duna Aszfalt won second period 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kaposvari won last quarter 19-18. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. International point guard Krisztian Wittmann (184-85) came up with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for KTE-Duna Aszfalt in the defeat.
