Kaposvari handed the third straight defeat to KTE-Duna Aszfalt and reached the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. KTE-Duna Aszfalt was better in second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded KTE-Duna Aszfalt 38-19 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kaposvari especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Serbian swingman Marko Derasimovic (199-84, agency: BeoExcell) came up with 24 points and 6 assists and Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) added 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for KTE-Duna Aszfalt in the defeat.
