Quarter-Finals Round 4: Alba - Sopron KC 90-94 OT

Sopron KC used an overtime to defeat Alba in the fourth game of the quarterfinal series. Thefefore Sopron KC sealed their semifinal appearance. Alba was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 23-20 charge of Sopron KC, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 10-6. Sopron KC outrebounded Alba 41-28 including 34 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Andras Rujak (190-88, agency: COSMOS International SM) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Zoltan Trepak (211-77, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who added 22 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Peter Toth (200-88, agency: COSMOS International SM) responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Alba's coach Carlos Frade rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
