Szolnok cruised past Kaposvari to clinch Finals birth. The game without a history. Szolnok led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kaposvari's 32. They outrebounded Kaposvari 39-28 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Kaposvari's players. It was a great evening for Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American Justin Holiday (198-89, college: Washington) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international Roland Hendlein (205-86) with 9 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Louis Hinnant (193-84, college: Boston Coll., agency: IBS) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
