Regular Season Round 1: Aabyhoj - Stevnsgade 66-67

Date: September 27, 2014
Very significant was Stevnsgade's just 1-point road victory against Aabyhoj 67-66. Aabyhoj was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Aabyhoj won fourth quarter 14-6. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Stevnsgade forced 21 Aabyhoj turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Swingman Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) nailed 28 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Jordan Sullivan (188-91, college: Montana) accounted for 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Sofie Preetzmann (180-95) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Kia Fisker (185-95) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Aabyhoj in the defeat. Aabyhoj's coach Thomas Johansen tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
