Regular Season Round 2: Stevnsgade - Lemvig 84-82

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Lemvig (1-1) on the court of Stevnsgade. Visitors were edged by Stevnsgade 84-82. It looked good early as Lemvig took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Stevnsgade had a 23-18 second period charge getting the lead and Lemvig was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-84. Stevnsgade forced 20 Lemvig turnovers. Swingman Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Jordan Sullivan (188-91, college: Montana) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) replied with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (was perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line !!!) and American guard Joanna Miller (173-91, college: Grambling St.) added 16 points in the effort for Lemvig. Stevnsgade will play against SISU in Copenhagen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lemvig will have a break next round.
