RSV Eintracht (1-1) recorded a loss in Dresden. Visitors were rolled over by Titans (1-1) 76-54. American Damon Smith (200-88, college: Mary) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Philipp Lieser (194-89, college: Cent.Washington) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swingman David Herwig (195-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Robin Jorch (208-94) added 12 points in the effort for RSV Eintracht. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Titans will play against AstroStars in Bochum in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play at home against Sixers to get more than just one victory in their record.
