Important game to mention about took place in Oberwart. Zepter Vienna (3-0) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Redwell Gunners Oberwart (1-2) 78-75 on Sunday evening. It looked good early as Redwell Gunners Oberwart took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Zepter Vienna had a 21-15 second period charge getting the lead and Redwell Gunners Oberwart was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 75-78. It was a great evening for British power forward Ryan Richards (212-91, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Amin Stevens (201-90, college: Florida A&M) helped adding 11 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Rakeem Buckles (201-90, college: FIU) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Stuart Mann Jr John scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zepter Vienna will play against UBSC Graz (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Redwell Gunners Oberwart will play against Xion Dukes (#9) in Klosterneuburg to get more than just one victory in their record.
