There was no surprise when BG Goettingen (0-2) was defeated at home by Artland Dragons (2-0) 83-70 on Monday. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. Artland Dragons forced 19 BG Goettingen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St., agency: Priority Sports) who scored 6 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
