The game in Trier was quite interesting. Artland Dragons (3-0) played at the court of TBB Trier (1-2). Artland Dragons managed to secure a 8-point victory 77-69 on Wednesday. TBB Trier trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 14-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-77 at the end of the game. It was a good game for American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 4 assists. American-Cypriot power forward Anthony King (206-85, college: Miami, FL, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Artland Dragons' coach Tyron McCoy used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jamaican-Canadian forward Jermaine Bucknor (201-83, college: Richmond) answered with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Ricky Harris (187-87, college: Massachusetts) added 15 points in the effort for TBB Trier. Four TBB Trier players scored in double figures. Artland Dragons is looking forward to face EWE Baskets (#4) in Oldenburg in the next round. TBB Trier will play on the road against BG Goettingen (#12) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
