Regular Season Round 3: EWE Baskets - Bayreuth 73-67

Very predictable result when EWE Baskets (3-0) won against BBC Bayreuth (1-2) in Oldenburg 73-67. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. BBC Bayreuth was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for guard Chris Kramer (191-88, college: Purdue) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 6 assists. Power forward Adam Chubb (208-81, college: Pennsylvania) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four EWE Baskets players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Javon McCrea (201-92, college: Buffalo) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Brandon Bowman (206-84, college: Georgetown) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. EWE Baskets will play against Artland Dragons in Quakenbrueck in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BBC Bayreuth will have a break next round.
