Regular Season Round 3: Hertener Loewen - Leipzig 77-82

No shocking result in a game when USC Leipzig (2-1) beat on the road Hertener Loewen (0-2) 82-77 on Saturday. Hertener Loewen was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American-Honduran guard Christopher Flores (188-90, college: NJIT) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Jorge Schmidt (193-85) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four USC Leipzig players scored in double figures. American point guard Deshaun Cooper (173-91, college: NW Missouri St.) answered with 33 points (!!!) (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and the other American import Connell Crossland (201-91, college: TCU) added 9 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Hertener Loewen. USC Leipzig will face Oldenburg on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hertener Loewen will play against Sixers and hopes to get finally their first victory.
