The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Mykolaiv (0-1) in Dnepropetrovsk on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Dnipro (1-0) 94-68. The game without a history. Center Oleksandr Kushnirov (208-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and international swingman Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) added 17 points in the effort for Mykolaiv. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dnipro is looking forward to face Khimik in Yuzhny in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mykolaiv will play on the road against BC Odessa and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
