Regular Season Round 1: Radivoj Korac - Partizan 73-57

Radivoj Korac used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Beograd 73-57 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Radivoj Korac. Partizan was better in fourth quarter 20-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Radivoj Korac outrebounded Partizan 43-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. It was a very good performance for Bosnian guard Tamara Kapor (184-91) who helped to win the game recording 14 points. The former international center Jelena Maksimovic (192-82) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Radivoj Korac's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Lidija Vuckovic (171-88) answered with 17 points and forward Bojana Jankovic (184-83) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Partizan. Radivoj Korac will face Bor on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Partizan will play against Vrbas Medela and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
