Regular Season Round 1: Turk Telekom - Fener.Ulker 61-73

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Turk Telekom (0-1) in Ankara. Hosts were defeated by Fenerbahce Ulker (1-0) 73-61. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce Ulker. Turk Telekom was better in second period 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Turk Telekom 37-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Serbian Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) nailed 19 points for the winning side and international Emir Preldzic (205-87, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Fenerbahce Ulker players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Baris Ermis (194-85) came up with 13 points and the former international forward Evren Buker (195-85) added 8 points and 4 assists respectively for Turk Telekom in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fenerbahce Ulker will play against Royal Hali in Gaziantep in the next round. Turk Telekom will play on the road against Besiktas in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
