Rather predictable result when Svendborg (2-1) defeated at home Horsholm (0-3) 83-79. The hosts were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 24-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Svendborg made 24-of-27 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game, while Horsholm only scored four points from the stripe. It was an exceptional evening for American center William Paul (208-88, college: Arkansas Tech) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line).
