Regular Season Round 2: Jaunieji Talentai - Fortuna 60-91

Another exciting game was played in Vilnius between Fortuna and Jaunieji Talentai where Fortuna (1-1) crushed Jaunieji Talentai (0-2) on the road with 31-point difference 91-60. Fortuna dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Jaunieji Talentai's 28. Fortuna forced 27 Jaunieji Talentai turnovers and outrebounded them 43-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Jaunieji Talentai's players. International Monika Grigalauskyte (190-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Roberta Mizgeryte (188-95) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Fortuna players scored in double figures. point guard Austeja Sirsinaityte (168-95) replied with 13 points and 4 assists and point guard Agne Bobinaite (180-97) added 14 points in the effort for Jaunieji Talentai. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fortuna will play against Kibirkstis-VICI in Vilnius in the next round. Jaunieji Talentai will play on the road against Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
