Not a big story in a game when Titans (1-4) lost to DRUFF! (3-1) in Braunschweig 60-77 on Friday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when DRUFF! made 9 blocks. Quite impressive performance for Lukas Meisner (201-95) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized American point guard Kurt Morris (183-89, college: LeTourneau) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American swingman Kevin Butler (194-89, college: Texas Arlington) replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Philipp Lieser (194-89, college: Cent.Washington) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Titans. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. DRUFF! have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory DRUFF! went down to second position (Group North) due to points difference, which they share with Rist Wedel. Titans lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with four games lost. DRUFF! will face Oldenburg (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Titans will play against SC Rist Wedel and hope to win that game.
