Besiktas used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Ankara 76-59 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Besiktas. Turk Telekom managed to win third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Besiktas outrebounded Turk Telekom 36-23 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international point guard Baris Ermis (194-85) responded with 10 points and 5 assists and American forward Josh Carter (200-88, college: Texas A&M) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Turk Telekom's coach Ertugrul Erdogan let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Besiktas will meet Royal Hali in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Turk Telekom will play against Darussafaka in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
