Very expected game when 12th ranked Titans (1-4) lost to fourth ranked Rostock EBC (4-1) in Dresden 70-85 on Sunday. Rostock EBC made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for DR Congolese-Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Bulgarian forward Ivo Slavchev (198-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman Kevin Butler (194-89, college: Texas Arlington) replied with 25 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import Damon Smith (200-88, college: Mary) added 24 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Titans. Titans' coach let to play eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rostock EBC have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group North leader. Titans lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with four games lost. Rostock EBC will face AstroStars (#5) in Bochum in the next round. Titans will play on the road against SC Rist Wedel (#3) and hope to win that game.
