Regular Season Round 4: Stahnsdorf - Braunschweig 75-66

First defeat of DRUFF! (3-1) against seventh ranked RSV Eintracht (3-2) 75-66 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of DRUFF!. RSV Eintracht dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to DRUFF!'s 30. Worth to mention a great performance of Robin Jorch (208-94) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Travis Smith (190-91, college: Mercer) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. Lukas Meisner (201-95) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Sid Marlon Theis (204-93) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for DRUFF!. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RSV Eintracht moved-up to fourth place in Group North, which they share with 3 other teams. DRUFF! at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Rist Wedel. They were replaced at the leadership position by Wuerzburg. DRUFF! will play next round against Oldenburg trying to make it back to the top of the standings. RSV Eintracht will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked USC Leipzig on the road.
