The most surprising game was the first loss of Osnabruck (3-1) in Goettingen on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by eighth ranked BG 74 Veilchen (2-2) 60-57. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Osnabruck. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 23-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Osnabruck at the other side dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. They share it with Braunschweig. BG 74 Veilchen is looking forward to face league's second-placed Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Osnabruck will play against Hannover and is hoping to win this game.
