Regular Season Round 2: Fener.Ulker - Royal Hali 66-70

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Fenerbahce Ulker (1-1) in Istanbul on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by Royal Hali (2-0) 70-66. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 42-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Paul Harris (193-86, college: Syracuse) who scored 26 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import guard Cory Higgins (195-89, college: Colorado, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center Oguz Savas (212-87) added 21 points respectively for the hosts. Fenerbahce Ulker's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Royal Hali is looking forward to face Besiktas in Istanbul in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fenerbahce Ulker will play on the road against Trabzonspor and is hoping to win this game.
